Akademie für berufliche Bildung (AFBB, Academy for Vocational Education) is a vocational school located in Dresden (Germany), with additional branches in Berlin and Cologne. They offer interdisciplinary training that leads to recognised qualifications. AFBB’s project team has extensive experience in the implementation of EU-funded projects (as lead and project partner) and is coordinating DigiPath, responsible for the overall implementation of planned activities. AFBB leads the development of the initial questionnaire to establish the specific needs of teachers and platform requirements of the DigiPath learning resource. Further, the DigiPath curriculum will be implemented with their teachers. They also coordinate the creation of the last project output – the DigiPath transfer concept, which includes organising and hosting the final multiplier event of the project.

GREECE

Hellenic Open University

Hellenic Open University (HOU) is the only Greek State University that offers formal and non-formal lifelong education, in both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Its training methodology combines distance learning with principles of adult education, relies heavily on digital material and virtual meetings and used online training platforms and tools. HOU is involved in the creation of all DigiPath project outputs and leads the development of the DigiPath blended learning platform.

SPAIN

Mediterráneo Culinary Center

Mediterráneo Culinary Center (MCC) is located in Valencia (Spain). It is a vocational training centre, with years of experience and recognised by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Valencian Community. The main educational offers are in the areas Hospitality, Tourism and Cooking. MCC’s International Department deals with Erasmus+ projects and welcomes students from all over Europe. MCC is involved in the production of all project outputs and will host a stakeholder event to share the DigiPath approach. Most importantly, the school will trial the DigiPath curriculum with their teachers, whose experiences and feedback will help further refine the product.

Escola de Comércio do Porto

Escola de Comércio do Porto (ECP, Oporto School of Commerce) is a VET school located in Porto (Portugal). They offer diversified education opportunities, including professionalising courses for youth, adults, and enterprises in the areas of commerce and services. The school’s mission is to create a bridge between education, society, and the labour market, favouring the employability of their students, matching their skills to the current needs of the employers and contributing to greater cooperation in the sectors of commerce, tourism and services. They aim to be “a school from, to, and with Europe”, which motivated the establishment of internationalization as a key strategic priority and participation in Erasmus+ and eTwinning projects. EPC is involved in the production of all project outputs and will host a stakeholder event to share the DigiPath approach. Most importantly, the school will trial the DigiPath curriculum with their teachers, whose experiences and feedback will help further refine the product.

Karalius Mindaugas Vocational Training Centre

Karalius Mindaugas Vocational Training Centre is the largest vocational training center in Lithuania. For more than 80 years, the school has earned a reputation as a competitive and reliable educational institution. KAUPA is a modern, dynamic educational institution, remaining responsive to labour market changes and eagerly applying innovative forms of education. The Centre offers different kind of training paths in the fields of beauty, business, social welfare and health. In co-operation with international and local partners the Centre actively participates in the development of vocational training, implements modern training technologies, prepares formal and non-formal vocational training programmes and studies. The teachers continually improve their qualification in the EU countries and students have a possibility of practical training abroad.

SI4Life is a non-for-profit organisation located in Genoa (Italy), whose primary aim is to carry out and support basic research as well as implement solutions into practice. The main interests of SI4Life include research innovation, continuous education and training as well as advancing professional expertise in science and technology. SI4Life is involved in several regional, national and European projects. They are involved in the creation of all DigiPath project outputs and lead the creation of the adaptive curricula.
